Help the club! Get your dues in early!

March 8th, 2007

The Early Bird club dues deadline is Thursday, March 15, one week from today! If all the club members get their dues in by the end of Wednesday’s meeting, we’ll be eligible for the Early Bird award from the district.

It may not seem like much, but these recognitions help raise the profile of the club. While we should all be proud of Redwood Ramblers, it would be nice to have our pride recognized at a higher level in the organization.

Help the club! Bring your dues to the meeting on March 14, or contact John Cowan to arrange payment!

Redwood Ramblers Has a New Website!

July 5th, 2006

Redwood Ramblers Toastmasters has a new website and newsletter, to promote the club and inform our members about activities, events, and the speaking schedule.
The website is available at http://www.redwoodramblers.org. The main website page contains the meeting time and location. If you need a quick reminder of where the meetings are held, that’s the place to go.
You can also download posters and flyers to put up at your workplace or hand out to friends and prospective members!
The newsletter is online as well at http://www.redwoodramblers.org/newsletter, in blog format. You can subscribe to receive the newsletter articles via email, read them at the website, or come to the first meeting of the month to receive a paper copy.
If you’d like to help out with the newsletter or website, please contact VP Public Relations Stephanie Bryant (). She’s looking for web design help, from the more technical programming and HTML help to graphics and color suggestions.
For the newsletter, short articles and photos of interest to members:
• Reviews of others’ speeches
• Book reviews for public speaking
• More information on your speech
• Techniques for improvement
• Personal perspective on Toastmasters
• Opportunities for leadership
• General club announcements
You can send newsletter articles and digital photos to . The deadline is the last Wednesday of the month.
