- The Area contests are THIS Thurs. evening, March 22 at Aptos Academy. Help support our members who will be speaking – Melanie and maybe Shawn. It’s fun too. (And volunteer as a ballot counter or timer or judge). Contest starts at 6:30, officials briefing 6:15, doors open at 6pm. Aptos Academy is on San Andreas Rd, one block off of Hwy 1 (toward the beach).

The Early Bird club dues deadline is Thursday, March 15, one week from today! If all the club members get their dues in by the end of Wednesday’s meeting, we’ll be eligible for the Early Bird award from the district.

It may not seem like much, but these recognitions help raise the profile of the club. While we should all be proud of Redwood Ramblers, it would be nice to have our pride recognized at a higher level in the organization.

Help the club! Bring your dues to the meeting on March 14, or contact John Cowan to arrange payment!

- On March 7 we’ll have a special guest speaker–Richard Stockton. You can also see him perform his comedy act at Kuumbwa Jazz Center on March 9, but for us he’ll talk about how to use humor to enhance your presentations and get over your fears.
