About the Club

July 5th, 2006

Redwood Ramblers is a Toastmasters International club dedicated to helping people develop and improve their public speaking and leadership skills.

Fear of public speaking is the #1 fear in America. More people fear speaking before an audience than death. And yet, good public speaking skills are important to all kinds of public-facing roles in business, non-profit organizations, education, and government.

The Redwood Ramblers is an open Toastmasters club in Santa Cruz County, which means anyone is welcome to join, and guests are always welcome to attend.

We meet every Wednesday at 12 PM at St. Philip Episcopal Church, 5271 Scotts Valley Drive, Scotts Valley, California.

Meetings of the Redwood Ramblers Toastmasters are free to guests. You do not need to be invited to attend a meeting; just show up and come on in! We’re always glad to meet new people, and we all remember when we nervously walked into a Toastmasters meeting for the first time.

If you need more information or wish to speak with someone directly about the club, please contact Ms. Mai Dao-Horton, the club president, at  or (831) 335-3097.

Redwood Ramblers is Club #8203, in Area A3, Division A of District 4.
