Upcoming Toastmaster Meetings and Roles: 2/28, 3/7, and 3/14

February 21st, 2007

Here are the Upcoming Redwood Ramblers Toastmasters Meetings and Roles!

- Since our club barely has enough members to fill all the jobs at each meeting it is important that EVERYONE email the Toastmaster before the meeting so the TM can write up the agenda.

- Please send an email to let the Toastmaster know if you will be at the meeting every week. When you are the Toastmaster, you know the panicky feeling you get when, on Tuesday evening, you haven’t heard from all the players, especially the speakers.  So be kind.

- Thank you all for participating in our International Speech and Table Topics contests the last couple of weeks, and special congratulations to all who spoke. In August we’ll have our Evaluation and Humorous speech contests. Think about participating.

- The Area level (Santa Cruz County) contests will take place March 22 at Aptos Academy. Please attend and help support our members who will be competing – Stephanie and Melanie. (And volunteer as a ballot counter or timer or judge) — especially if you’ve never attended a higher level contest before.

- Invite a friend, neighbor or co-worker to our meetings! Remember, our meetings are open to the public, and anyone is welcome to visit as a guest.
