- The area Humor and Evalution Contest will be held at Aptos Academy, San Andreas
Rd, right off Hwy 1 at 9am, Sat. Sept. 23. Everyone is welcome and it’s lots of
fun.
- Since we have low attendance this time of year it is difficult to maintain a
long term schedule, but I’ll let you know of your jobs a few weeks in advance. If
you will miss a meeting for which you are assigned a job, please let the
Toasmaster know.

Mitchell Brown has compiled a wonderful list of weasel words to avoid in communication. Most of these are familiar favorites, like “at this moment in time” (instead of now) and “somewhate unique.”
