Local Speaker Wins District Competition

Henry Miller wins District Speech Award.Henry Miller will present his award-winning speech “The Game” at the June 14th Redwood Ramblers Toastmasters meeting. “The Game” is an inspiring lesson for us all, and won the Toastmasters District 4 Speech Competition in May.

Miller is an unassuming man with a gentle demeanor who has been a member of Toastmasters for fifteen years and has placed in several local and district-wide speech competitions. He is a member of three clubs in Santa Cruz County, and a frequent visitor to the Redwood Ramblers.

All Redwood Ramblers Toastmasters meetings are free and open to the public. The club meets every Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM, at St. Philip Episcopal Church, 5271 Scotts Valley Drive in Scotts Valley. http://www.redwoodramblers.org
